The former culture secretary explained the legal issues with naming some of the people linked to claims in her new book.
One was a man she called Dr No, after the James Bond character, and Nadine Dorries claimed ‘Dr No’ has “influence and money and power” in the Conservative Party.
Ms Dorries, an author who has sold three million fiction books, claimed The Plot was “probably the most-legalled book since Spycatcher” – a reference to the 1987 book with claims about the security services. It was banned in England, and first published in Australia.
