Three minors—10, 13, and 15 years old—died in two suspected drowning incidents in Cagayan.
In Lal-lo, the bodies of a 10-year-old boy and his 13-year-old cousin were found in an irrigation canal on July 13, 2024.
The children were seen last with their aunt who had asked them to pick mangoes. They were found later at the canal. Authorities and their family do not suspect foul play.
In Alcala the following day, a 15-year-old girl was found dead in a river. The victim was identified by her uncle through a scar in her abdomen.
The victim’s relatives believe that she died of drowning. — GMA Regional TV
