ANGELES City – A total of 1,260 employees at the City Hall are bound to receive an additional P21,000 bonus each in December 2024. These personnel consisted of 915 permanent, 329 casuals, and 16 contractuals.
On the other hand, 3,484 workers on contract of service (COS) status will get their P3,000-yearend gratuity on Dec. 5, 2024.
The windfall was embodied in Memorandum No. 1486, Series of 2024 issued on July 9,2024 by Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr.
The P21,000-additional benefits for the 1,260 city government employees include the productivity enhancement incentive worth P5,000 to be released on Dec.12; collective negotiation agreement bonus worth P10,000 on Dec. 19; and the service recognition incentive amounting to P6,000 to be released on Dec. 23.
The remunerations are apart from their tax-free yearend bonus, equivalent to one-month basic salary, which is set to be released on Nov. 18.
