THE Food and Drug and Administration (FDA) has approved the regulated use of a vaccine against the African swine fever (ASF) by the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI).

The DA said on Tuesday it aims to roll out the AVAC ASF Live vaccine from Vietnam by August 15, but the bureaucratic process might delay this to September.
