MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Davao del Sur won the P157-million jackpot in the 6/49 Super Lotto draw on Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said yesterday.
The PCSO said the lucky bettor guessed the winning combination 41-33-31-24-37-49, which carried a total prize of P157,395,155.60.
The ticket was bought along Rizal Avenue in Digos City, Davao del Sur.
Meanwhile, a bettor from Zambales won the P1.1-million jackpot in the 6D Lotto draw also on Thursday.
The PCSO said the lucky winner guessed the 6D Lotto winning combination 8-6-8-7-2-2, which carried a prize of P1,135,985.
The PCSO said the ticket was bought in Del Pilar, Castillejos, Zambales.
Republic Act 1169 or the law on PCSO lotteries gives winners one year to claim their prizes. Lotto winnings of more than P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law.
