DoST earns high approval, trust ratings

THE Department of Science and Technology (DoST) got high approval and trust ratings in Publicus Asia’s second-quarter survey of government agencies.

The DoST ranked third in approval with 64 percent and 6th in trust with 47 percent.

The survey was conducted from June 15 to 19.

“The DoST continues to excel, boasting high approval and trust ratings among government agencies in the country, as revealed by the 2024 second quarter Pahayag survey conducted by Publicus Asia. This remarkable achievement reflects the hard work, innovation, and expertise of the entire S&T workforce,” DoST said on its Facebook page.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) ranked first in approval (72 percent) and trust (58 percent).

The Department of Health ranked last in both approval (55 percent) and trust (43 percent).
