Distributor Hot Tropiks will be taking Filipino comics to the highly anticipated San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2024 in San Diego, California.
Comic books from local Filipino publishers such as Komiket, Anino Comics, Summit Books, and Avenida Publishing, as well as independent creators, will be featured in the Hot Tropiks booth during the event.
The distributor will also have offers available exclusively during the event, such as Maharlika Vol 1 with an exclusive SDCC cover, Aklas #1 with a US release SDCC variant, Kontra: Against Evil, and the SDCC variants of Super Proxies by Sampay and Malolesby Ebony Soy.
The SDCC is an event that celebrates comics and the popular arts, including films, TV shows, gaming, interactive multimedia, and many other forms of entertainment. With more than 130,000 attendees yearly, the event serves as one of the largest comic conventions in the world.
SDCC 2024 will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 25 to 28. The Hot Tropiks booth will be at Booth L-10.
