Some portions of Metro Manila remained submerged on Thursday after rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat and Tropical Cyclone Carina caused massive flooding in the region.
According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and local government units, floods are still reported in the following areas:

- Rizal Avenue-Recto Avenue – gutter-deep flood as of 6:20 a.m. Passable to all types of vehicles.
Quezon City (as of 12:46 a.m.)

- Araneta Avenue towards Del Monte – above knee to waist-deep:
