Marc Nelson and Christi McGarry are taking viewers on a spirited adventure to Bali in the two-part Beached special. The first episode aired on July 27, and the second part will air on Aug. 3 at 8:30 p.m. on Metro Channel.
After an exhilarating escapade in Mexico last month, the seasoned travelers now head to one of the world’s top beach destinations for another exciting journey.
“Blessed with astounding natural wonders and equally awe-inspiring people, this place is known as the Island of the Gods,” Marc describes in the show’s latest teaser.
Christi, equally thrilled, adds, “This place has a special place in my heart. There’s a lot to take in: thrilling activities, breathtaking views, and hot dining spots. Truly a spellbinding destination!”
In the first episode of “Beached Bali,” the travel show hosts explore Canna Beach Club, located in the heart of Nusa Dua, which offers a variety of activities including paragliding and beach volleyball.
They also visit the Path Bali yoga center in Canggu, the iconic Uluwatu Temple, and various must-try dining spots. Additionally, they discover Sungai Watch, an organization dedicated to keeping Indonesian rivers clean.
In the second episode, Marc and Christi surf along Berawa Beach, known for its black sand, big waves, and beautiful views of the Indian Ocean.
The adventure continues as they explore Bali’s cultural capital, Ubud, and embark on a white-water rafting adventure across 28 rapids. They also visit the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site offering panoramic views of Bali’s lush landscape.
Moreover, the duo delves into the sustainability practices at Green School Bali, explores Finns Beach Club, and dines at some of the island’s hottest spots.
