MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Tuesday approved the medical marijuana bill on third reading.
House Bill 10439 hurdled the final reading with 177 lawmakers voting for it. Nine were against and nine others abstained.
If passed into law, the measure will provide right of access to medical cannabis and the establishment of a medical cannabis office.
