MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives suspended work on Wednesday because of bad weather.
“Considering the current weather conditions as reported by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, please be advised that work in the House of Representatives, including the conduct of the plenary session and committee hearings are suspended today, July 24, 2024”, House Secretary General Reginald Velasco said in a memorandum.
Velasco reminded all concerned to keep safe.
The Sandiganbayan also suspended work on Wednesday.
In a memorandum signed by Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang, frontline officers were directed to “inform their clients of the said work suspension.”
