Knowledge Channel hosts teachers’ conference to celebrate 25th year

As schools prepare for the opening of SY 2024-2025, the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI), celebrating its 25th anniversary, will host its first Teachers’ Conference on Teaching Reading and Mathematics with Wikaharian, Ready, Set, READ!, and MathDali. 

The conference is free and will merit participants with a Certificate of Participation and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for their professional expertise. It will be streamed live via Knowledge Channel’s Facebook page on July 15 and 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in time with the Department of Education’s National Learning Camp for teachers.

With the goal to empower and engage 30,000 participants with effective strategies, resources, skills, and methodologies to enhance learner performance in reading and mathematics, KCFI’s Teachers’ Conference will cover topics such as Phonics, Word Recognition, Comprehension Strategies, and Literacy Interventions for teaching reading, and Common Math Misconceptions, Differentiated Instruction, and Constructivism for teaching mathematics. The event will also showcase KCFI’s original educational programs Wikaharian, Ready, Set, READ!, and MathDali as digital tools for teaching reading and mathematics.

The Knowledge Channel Foundation cordially invites teachers, principals, school administrators, curriculum developers, educational technologists, teacher trainers, aspiring teachers, parents, and caregivers of children to take part in the event.
