Actor and host Luis Manzano has shared his own reaction to President Bongbong Marcos Jr.’s recent announcement regarding the ban imposed on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
The president made the announcement about the POGO ban during his recently concluded third State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 22. In a video shared with his fans on Instagram, Manzano showed a photo of the announced ban along with a clip of himself appearing comically distressed about the announcement.
“So ayun na nga, nanood ako ng SONA kahapon ni PBBM tapos parang narinig ko na ipagbabawal na yung mga pogi… grabe yung kaba ko,” he said in the video.
“Buti na lang nung pinanood ko POGO pala pero kung ibaban talaga [yung] mga pogi… ako yung unang-unang papalabasin,” he added.
His video drew laughs from his fans as well as his wife, Jessy Mendiola, who commented that it was too early for one of his silly jokes.
Luis is well-known for his comedic jokes, which he often showcases in his hosting endeavors as well as in random posts about memes on his social media accounts.
While he hosts his own show “Luis Listens” on his YouTube channel, Manzano also currently hosts the game show “Rainbow Rumble” along with comedian Negi, which premiered on July 20 on the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
