The Philippines’ premier home, fashion, and lifestyle trade show, Manila FAME, returns to the World Trade Center Metro Manila from October 17 to 19, 2024.

With the theme “ReimagiNATION,” the event celebrates Filipino artisans’ constant evolution in materials, processes, styles, and presentation to meet global tastes.

Nearly 400 original designs, co-created by Manila FAME exhibitors and renowned product specialists, will be exclusively launched across various pavilions.

The Design Commune, a highlight of the show, features two curated sections: home and lighting. Curators Rita Nazareno and Gabby Lichauco, collaborating with 25 local companies, will unveil 150 new prototypes inspired by “Beyond Reality,” drawing from diverse cultural influences and reimagining everyday objects.

Design Commune’s fashion pavilion, curated by veteran designer Anthony Ramirez, showcases the work of 15 local enterprises. Exploring “Parametricism,” Ramirez draws inspiration from organic structures like topography, plants, and biomimicry to create 90 prototypes that highlight the stories and talents behind Filipino fashion.

The Artisans Village, curated by PJ Arañador, shines a spotlight on regional MSMEs. With the theme “Uri,” the village celebrates the diverse cultural heritage of Philippine provinces, showcasing traditional materials, patterns, and craftsmanship in a range of products, including wearables, accessories, furniture, and gifts.

Manila FAME 2024 promises to be a vibrant showcase of Filipino creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship. The event offers a platform for local artisans and designers to connect with international buyers, industry insiders, and design enthusiasts, fostering new opportunities and collaborations.

Organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotions arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Manila FAME continues to play a vital role in promoting the Philippines as a global design hub.
