President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Saturday encouraged members of the Iglesia ni Cristo to continue inspiring their communities, strengthening their faith, and working towards achieving a prosperous future for the country.
Ang inyong walang-sawang paglilingkod at mga gawain ay naglalarawan ng pagkakaisa, pag-unlad, at mas malalim na pang-unawa bilang isang sambayanan,” Marcos said in his message on the occasion of the INC’s 110th anniversary.
(May you continue serving as inspiration not only in your communities but also for the entire nation. Your selfless service and deeds show unity, progress, and deep understanding as a community.)
(I urge you all to strengthen your faith and love for God and for your fellowmen. Let us pray and work together to achieve a future full of hope, prosperity, and peace for Filipinos and the rest of mankind.)
(With every act of kindness and care, may we become instruments of change in society, and let us carry out the Bagong Pilipinas for the benefit of all.)
The President said the 110th anniversary of INC is a historical celebration that proves the church members’ love for God, peace, and dedication as members.
(The 110th anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo is a historical celebration that shows your love for God and for peace, and dedication as members of INC.)
He also said one’s faith serves as light and guide in life.
(During times of happiness and trials, our faith serves as light for our path and strengthens us to help us continue working for a better life. It also serves as guide for us to be creative, helpful, and responsible citizens, in accordance with the words of our Creator.)
(May we live in the light of love and cooperation. Happy anniversary, Iglesia ni Cristo!)
