MITSUI O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL) recently announced its sponsorship of the “Human History of the Ocean” exhibit at the University of Tokyo/Japan Post Intermediatheque Museum.
The exhibit, from July 5 to Oct. 6, 2024, will explore humanity’s relationship with the ocean throughout history and into the future.
MOL will showcase its innovative wind propulsion technologies, including models of the “Wind Challenger,” a next-generation wind-assisted propulsion system, and the “Wind Hunter,” a seagoing green hydrogen production plant. These technologies, MOL said, represent the future of sustainable shipping and align with the exhibit’s theme of human interaction with the ocean.
