The members of New:ID, a new P-pop boy group, are starting their music career with the release of two digital tracks – their first step in introducing themselves and their music to fans.
The group consists of Wilson, Macky, L, Thad, and Jom, who were contestants on the reality TV show Dream Maker. Despite not making it to the final lineup of winners, the New:ID members continued their training in South Korea for over a year, honing the skills and discipline required for the P-pop.
In 2023, New:ID debuted with their singles “E.R.” and “Déjà Vu,” which introduced a dark, mysterious, and sexy style.
“Apart from being popular and well-known across the world, our main goil is to make and share songs that are relatable to anyone. We want to make music that our fans can find comfort in, music that will make them feel that someone shares the same experience,” the band said.
New:ID is exploring various genres to forge deep connections with its listeners and achieve artistic growth. Their latest release includes two tracks, “Ghost” and “The Day We Meet Again,” now available on digital music streaming platforms. The music video for “Ghost” premiered on July 25.
New:ID is managed by MLD Entertainment, which also handles the careers of P-pop group Hori7on and South Korean girl group Lapillus.
