The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) will jointly launch Navigate the Touring Circuit, a comprehensive program that aims to empower Filipino performing arts companies with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive on the international stage.
Open to arts managers, production managers, and key leaders, Navigate the Touring Circuit provides training and mentorship on the technical aspects of international touring. The program equips participants with the entrepreneurial skills and knowledge needed to position themselves and their companies for success, ultimately boosting the global competitiveness of the Philippine performing arts industry.
Discussions on the global touring market led by industry experts will be followed by the opening program in Manila on July 11th, workshops will be held in Clark City, Dapitan City, and Bohol, covering topics like funding strategies, production management, marketing, and pitching.
The program follows a blend of plenary presentations, talks, breakout sessions, and face-to-face mentoring. Live and recorded online sessions ensure accessibility for participants unable to attend in person.
Navigate the Touring Circuit will continue until 2025, culminating in a major event in 2026: CREATEPhilippines x Manila International Performing Arts Market (MIPAM). This event, organized by CITEM and CCP, will be a platform for business matching and networking opportunities, connecting Filipino performing arts groups with key industry players.
