Maris Racal has been trending for days not only because of her sudden announcement that she and longtime boyfriend Rico Blanco have called it quits.
During the Star Magic Spotlight event held in Quezon City, the 25-year-old actress was forced to speak up after being asked questions about Rico and how supportive he was of her career and her love team with Anthony Jennings.
“I’m so scared ‘cause if I announce it, then it’s real. But yeah, Rico and I are over,” Maris said while trying to hold back her tears.
Before her revelation, Maris was very enthusiastic talking about Marupok A+, a movie directed by Quark Henares. The film revolves around the use of catfishing in the online dating world and also stars EJ Jallorina and Royce Cabrera.
“Yes, I’m marupok af especially when I’m younger,” she said.
Marupok A+, which was initially shown at last year’s Cinemalaya, is now exclusively showing at Ayala Malls Cinemas.
