ACTOR Niño Muhlach and his long-time partner, Diane Abby Tupaz, posted furious messages on their Facebook accounts Wednesday accusing “shameless people possessed by demons” of sexually abusing one of their children.

In her message, Tupaz said they would stop at nothing to achieve justice and teach the alleged abusers a lesson.

“We raised and took care of our children full of love and care, then there are shameless people who have been possessed by demons to do that kind of heinous act!” she said in Filipino.

Tupaz did not name the child involved or give further details about the alleged incident.

Niño Muhlach and his sister Angela also released cryptic posts.

In his Facebook post, Niño said in Filipino: “You started it, I’ll finish it.”

Angela took to her Instagram story with a short message. “Our family will be the one to break the injustices all the other artists are facing! This has to stop. We will fight for justice.” Included in her post was the hashtag #MENTOO.

Tupaz has been the partner of Niño for almost two decades. They have one son together, Alonzo. Niño, meanwhile, has another son — Sandro, a Sparkle GMA Artist Center contract star — from his previous marriage to Edith Millare.

GMA Network released an official statement following online rumors that linked it and some of its employees to the alleged incident.

“Online articles and posts have recently circulated regarding an alleged incident involving an artist and independent contractors of GMA Network,” the network said.

“We have yet to receive a formal complaint from those allegedly involved in the issue. Should one be filed, the network is committed to conducting a thorough and impartial investigation. We assure the public that GMA Network takes such matters with utmost seriousness,” it said.

The statement did not contain any further information, but it was released in the wake of allegations from several showbiz blogs that two TV program executives had taken advantage of a newcomer during a big event.

Veteran showbiz scribe and online host Ogie Diaz posted cryptic messages highlighting how the victim was traumatized by the alleged incident, suffering “anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and PTSD,” leading to the victim’s rapid breakdown.

Muhlach has yet to issue a statement. The Manila Times tried to contact the actor but has not heard from him yet.
