MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents confiscated P12.15 million worth of illegal drugs in Cebu and Cavite provinces on Thursday and Friday.
In Cebu, police seized 1.5 kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at P10.2 million from a 22-year-old woman in Talisay City yesterday, Central Visayas police director Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin said.
Aberin said the suspect was arrested in a sting in a residential compound at 12:48 a.m. yesterday.
Meanwhile, a delivery rider tagged as a high-value suspect in the illegal drug trade in Calabarzon was caught with 1,151 ecstasy tablets, a party drug, in Bacoor, Cavite on Thursday night.
The illegal drugs, with a street value of P1.95 million, were seized from Jerome Jamila, 34, a resident of Pasay City.
Jamila was collared by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at a mall parking lot in Barangay Molino IV.
