ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P13.9 million was seized in an anti-drug operation in Cebu City on Wednesday night.
The illegal substance, weighing at least two kilos, was confiscated from a 31-year-old suspect following a sting in Barangay Kalunasan, according to Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, Central Visayas police director.
The suspect, whose identity was not immediately available, was collared after selling an undetermined amount of drugs to a police officer who posed as a buyer.
On the same day, anti-narcotics agents seized 25.5 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P173,400 from three drug suspects in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The suspects – identified only as Jay-Ar, Alinor and Alkaer – were arrested following a sting in Barangay Luzviminda I at around 3:45 p.m.
