Pampanga-Luid took down Caloocan, 85-79, to rule the Born 2008 Division of the PSL National Finals on Thursday at the Victoria Sports Club in Quezon City.
Yujin Peña registered a double-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists as Pampanga also clinched a spot in the PSL Global Championship Challenge.
Chester Tulabut top-scored Pampanga with 20 points, while Iverson Pineda also had his own double-double of 13 points and 12 assists.
Kent Lagman chipped in 12 points, while Jay Castro also added 10 for Pampanga.
The PSL Global Challenge will commence on July 15 where teams from the Philippines, Thailand, United Kingdom, Italy, North America, Canada, and New Zealand will also compete in the tournament which has three divisions: Born 2004, 2006, and 2008. The overseas teams will also banner Filipino players residing abroad.
