MANILA, Philippines — Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian said the restoration of Philippine-China relations could serve the common aspirations of Chinese and Filipino peoples, as well as contribute to regional peace.
In his speech during the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) on Friday, Ambassador Huang said: “Let us remember the common aspirations of our two peoples, work together to restore China-Philippine relations, and contribute to regional peace and prosperity.”
