VITRO Inc., a subsidiary of ePLDT, said Wednesday that its 50-megawatt data facility in Sta. Rosa Laguna is ready to start operations following the successful completion of its structure.

“Vitro Sta. Rosa is a landmark achievement for the PLDT Group and the Philippines. A lot of hyperscalers have already expressed their interest in co-locating in our facility,” said Victor Genuino, president and chief executive of ePLDT and Vitro.

“Once it is complete, we will continue to build more data center facilities ahead of demand to anticipate the future requirements of our customers as they accelerate the adoption of cloud and AI technologies,” he added.

The data center was designed to be energy efficient, utilizing the latest innovations in cooling and power redundancy.

It is classified as Rated-3 certified and Rated-4 ready with the highest level of network diversity and resilience and at least three fiber routes from PLDT and other telco providers.
