MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte is among the 26 semi-finalists of the “2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers” awards, the Civil Service Commission announced yesterday.
As it bared the names of the semi-finalists, the CSC urged the public to participate in the evaluation process by submitting their feedback on the nominees until July 26.
“Your feedback is crucial in helping us recognize the most deserving candidates who exemplify excellence in public service,” CSC Chairman Karlo Nograles said in a press statement.
Belmonte is among the 10 people and three groups named as semi-finalists for the Presidential Lingkod Bayan (PLB) Award, the highest among the three award categories under the annual Search for Outstanding Government Workers.
The PLB Award is conferred on individuals or groups for their exceptional or extraordinary contributions resulting from an idea or performance that had a nationwide impact on public interest, security and patrimony.
