Theater company Repertory Philippines (REP)’s workshop series for teens will stage two original musicals created by the attendees themselves.
Entitled ‘Fiasco of ’94’ and ‘Inveniria,’ the musicals are part of a week-long showcase, marking the culmination of this year’s workshops for the theater company.
‘Fiasco of ’94,’ staged by Teen Class 1, revolves around a group of friends facing a mystery during their prom night in 1994. Meanwhile, ‘Inveniria,’ from Teen Class 2, follows six outcasts on a magical journey toward their dreams in a world of the same name.
Both productions will be showcased at the GSIS Theater in Pasay City. ‘Fiasco of ’94’ is scheduled for July 31 at 7 pm, and ‘Inveniria’ will follow on Aug. 2 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at P350 and P300, respectively.
