MANILA, Philippines — Businessman Antonio Tiu has returned at the helm of listed Philippine Infradev Holdings Inc. after resigning from the post last year.

In a stock exchange filing, Philippine Infradev reported changes to its board of directors and leadership team, including Tiu’s comeback following his resignation in February 2023.

Tiu replaced Georgina Monsod as president and was designated as a member of the executive committee.

Monsod will now serve as the company’s executive vice president and treasurer.

Tiu was likewise elected as director, replacing Laiza Rose Lamsen who resigned due to personal reason.

Philippine Infradev also announced the resignation of Ren Jinhua as non-executive chairman of the board and the election of Ren Youmin as his replacement, effective immediately.

Tiu’s resignation from his posts in Philippine Infradev and Ever Gotesco Resources and Holdings Inc. last year was due to the need to focus on his agricultural business.

Philippine Infradev is the company putting up the Makati Subway project, a 10-kilometer railway system to be built in Makati and is touted as the biggest public-private partnership (PPP) project for a local government unit.

The company is also establishing a wholly owned real estate subsidiary, details of which will be determined and implemented by the executive committee upon the recommendation of the president.
