MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Cavite won over P20 million in the Super Lotto 6/49 draw on Thursday, while another bettor in Laguna hit the P14.7-million jackpot for the Lotto 6/42 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said yesterday.
The PCSO said the 6/49 winner, who bought the ticket in Dasmariñas City in Cavite, guessed the winning combination of 31-02-27-41-17-12, which carried a total jackpot prize of P20,077,863.20.
The 6/42 winner bought the ticket in San Pablo City in Laguna. The lucky combination 03-15-11-17-19-13 carried a total prize of P14,733,011.60.
According to the PCSO, 23 bettors won the second prize of P50,000 each for guessing five of the six winning 6/49 combination while 70 others won the second prize of P24,000 each for the 6/42 draw.
Lotto winnings of more than P10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN law.
