600 aspirants from Central Mindanao take PMA entrance test

At least 650 examinees from across Central Mindanao took the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) entrance examination on Saturday until Sunday at a testing site in Kabacan town in Cotabato province.

The two-day activity was held at a public gymnasium in the town proper of Kabacan in the Third District of Cotabato, facilitated by representatives from PMA led by Army Captain Jocel May Alicog with the help of the office of Governor Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza and the local government unit of Kabacan.

Many of the examinees are from far-flung municipalities in Cotabato province and nearby areas.

Future PMA cadets undergo the 4-Year cadet program and are molded to be officers and leaders of the tri-services of the AFP namely, the Philippine Army, the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Air Force. 

They will earn their Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Major in Security Studies and be commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants or Ensigns in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
