Actor Ahron Villena has revealed that he was exploited by a prominent film director early in his career.
The 37-year-old actor, who entered showbiz in 2004, shared on Sunday, Aug. 25, an encounter that he claims the director tolerated on set.
In a post, Ahron responded to the director’s recent comments about such practices, stating, “I saw a post where this director mentioned that these kinds of scenarios [exploitation] have been happening for a long time. It seems like you’re really proud of it.”
“What if I say that I’m one of the artists who was exploited, and it was you! Such actions are never justified, regardless of when they occurred,” he added.
While he did not publicly name the director, his allegations have sparked outrage and renewed calls for accountability in the entertainment industry.
