The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) on Saturday distributed a total of P563-million worth of government services and financial aid (including P265 million in cash assistance programs) to over 60,000 locals in Lipa City, Batangas.

House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, the main proponent of the country’s biggest service and convergence caravan, represented President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the BPSF. He expressed his gratitude to Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, who served as the event’s local host.

“Service and Help Centers need to be built in every province in the Philippines. Government service, directly to the people, this is the promise of President Marcos to our countrymen,” Romualdez said in Filipino.

The BPSF in Batangas featured 50 participating agencies with 209 services offered to over 60,000 beneficiaries.

The event was attended by 143 House members, including former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, along with Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and other government and local officials.

This marks the 22nd installment of the BPSF, which aims to reach all 82 provinces nationwide where more than P10-billion worth of assistance was already provided to 2.5 million families in only a year since its launching.

“All agencies are here, and any help, advice, assistance, and relief will be freely given regardless of your status in life. These agencies are ready to sympathize with you without discrimination. As a citizen, you have the right to enjoy such care,” Recto said.
