K-pop idol Jungkook of the Korean sensation BTS dropped the teaser photos on Wednesday for his much-anticipated documentary film, “I AM STILL.
In a press release by his label, BIG HIT Entertainment, the docu-film reflects Jungkook’s journey with his debut solo album, “GOLDEN,” including album promotions, behind-the-scenes footage, performances, and interviews.
“Delving into his creative process, unwavering work ethic, and the unique challenges faced by a global superstar, the film presents exclusive, never-before-seen footage and interviews alongside electrifying concert performances. This poignant portrait showcases Jungkook’s unwavering dedication and artistic evolution,” the statement read.
In a separate video, Jungkook talked about what ARMYs should look forward to in the film.
“Starting with my first official solo track ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ and throughout the promos for my studio album ‘Golden,’ I had a year filled with golden moments of happiness thanks to all the love that you gave me,” Jungkook said.
“For me, ‘Golden’ was filled with a series of continuous new challenges, the long journey that led to an album filled with songs of diverse genres. It tells the full story of Jungkook as a solo artist, including all the moments I connected with ARMYs from around the world through music and the behind-the-scenes stories that I didn’t get to share,” he added.
“Jung Kook: I Am Still” is set to hit cinemas on Sept. 18, with limited screenings worldwide in over 120 countries and regions. Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 21.
