Authorities seized P68 million worth of shabu and arrested an officer of the Bureau of Corrections and two others in an entrapment operation in Bulungan, Parañaque City.
During the entrapment operation on August 9, authorities seized 10 kilograms of shabu.
They also confiscated two vehicles, a pistol loaded with live ammunition and mobile phones.
The three suspects will face charges for violating Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Special Enforcement Service (SES), Regional Office-National Capital Region, together with the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group-Intelligence and Foreign Liaison Division, and Parañaque City Police Station Sub-Station 3.—Celine Serquina/LDF, GMA Integrated News
