Century Properties Group (CPG) on Wednesday announced it is rewarding two-time Paris Olympics gold medalist Carlos Yulo with a house and lot package.
In a press release, CPG said it is gifting Yulo with a house and lot at its PHirst Editions Batulao project in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The single attached home, coincidentally named Charles–which translates to Carlos in Spanish–is valued at P6.0 million.
“On behalf of PHirst and the entire Century Properties Group, we extend our sincerest gratitude and heartfelt congratulations to Carlos Yulo for his historic double gold in the Olympics, bringing pride to the Philippines,” said Jose E.B. Antonio, executive chairman of CPG.
“We also extend our congratulations to Cynthia Carreon, President of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines for the stewardship and guidance of Carlos Yulo all through the years,” said Antonio.
This is the second time that CPG has awarded a house and lot to a Filipino Olympic gold medalist.
In 2021, CPG rewarded Hidilyn Diaz with a PHirst house and lot package for her accomplishments as the Philippines’ first-ever Olympic gold medalist in Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
PHirst is CPG’s first home buyer brand. The brand currently has 23 communities and counting spread out in key growth areas in Luzon and Visayas.
Rewards have been pouring in for Yulo, hailed as the “Golden Boy” of Philippine sports and arguably the best Filipino Olympian of all time.
After his double-gold medal victory in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Yulo’s incentives so far include P20 million from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
The House of Representatives is also set to award him at least P6 million, while the City of Manila will give P2 million on top of a homecoming parade.
Property developer Megaworld Corp. on Monday said it has upgraded its reward for Yulo after his second gold medal win.
With the upgrade, Megaworld said it would give him a three-bedroom unit in one of its premier residential properties inside McKinley Hill in Taguig City, plus a P3-million cash bonus for being the first Filipino athlete to bag two Olympic gold medals. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
