MANILA, Philippines — THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday that it is closely monitoring cloud formations which may turn into a low pressure area (LPA).

Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said the cloud clusters, spotted west of southern Luzon, could develop into a weather disturbance in the coming days.
