MANILA, Philippines — The cloud clusters spotted off east of Mindanao have the chance to develop into a low pressure area (LPA) and enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in 24 hours, the state-rum weather agency said on Friday.
Once an LPA, this will bring rains in large parts of the country, said weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
