MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday that the southwest monsoon or “habagat” would continue to affect areas in western Visayas and Mindanao, as well as Palawan.
In its early morning bulletin on its website on Saturday, the state weather bureau said that Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan were expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms because of the effects of the monsoon.
