MANILA, Philippines — Over P1.7 billion has been allocated for the deployment of election equipment and other supplies to be used in the May 2025 midterm elections.
In its invitation to bid, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that the contract for the deployment of equipment, peripherals, forms, supplies and paraphernalia has an approved funding of P1,700,798,353.79.
The Comelec said the contract includes the provision of warehousing services.
Interested bidders can submit documents to the Special Bid and Awards Committee (SBAC) on or before Sept. 16.
“Bids must be duly received by the SBAC Secretariat through manual submission. Late bids will not be accepted,” the Comelec said.
A pre-bid conference will be held on Sept. 2.
