In case you didn’t know, David Licauco likes to play basketball when he’s not busy acting and managing his businesses.
On TikTok, Sparkle artist Shan Vesagas shared a video where he had the chance to share the court with the Pambansang Ginoo.
In the video, Shan and David tried to shoot a three-point basket. They both had successful shots, with David facing the camera even before the ball reached the ring.
In the comment section, the Sparkle actor jokingly said, “One take lang ‘to!”
David currently stars in “Pulang Araw” with Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, and Alden Richards.
In last Friday’s episode of the Kapuso historical series, Barbie and David’s characters had a kissing scene just as World War II began.
On X, the Kapuso Primetime Princess admitted being confused during the scene.
“Actually, habang [hinihintay] naming ni David [nang] ‘magkakiss’ bago lumabas si Sanya sa eksena, ‘di ko sure kung dapat ba pumikit ako o dumilat kasi si David, nakadilat at nakatingin lang sa ‘kin,” Barbie wrote.
“Nataranta si self ng very light,” she added.
“Pulang Araw” traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina (Barbie), Teresita (Sanya), Hiroshi (David), and Eduardo (Alden).
The show airs on GMA Prime on weekdays at 8 p.m. and also streams on Netflix.
