Concertgoers were amazed as Julie Anne San Jose and SB19’s Stell showcased their world-class talents in their first concert together, Julie X Stell: Our Voice, on July 27 and 28 at the New Frontier Theater.
Made possible by GMA Synergy, GMA Entertainment Group, and 1Z Entertainment, Julie X Stell: Our Voice attracted thousands of fans and OPM lovers, with tickets for both days selling out.
The packed venue was full of energy as the two great artists performed their original songs and renditions of popular Filipino hits from different eras. Through their powerful solo and duet performances, Julie and Stell took the audience on a journey through early crushes, first heartbreaks, and the ups and downs of love and life.
Julie and Stell expressed their gratitude to all the concertgoers who supported their two-day concert.
“We are truly blessed to have fans who always support us in every project. And we really felt that support here at the Our Voice Concert. We are so grateful. Personally, I wouldn’t be where I am today without your love for me,” said Julie.
“We are deeply thankful to all the supporters who enjoyed the concert with Julie and me. Both days of ‘Our Voice’ were sold out, and we really hope we made you happy with our surprises and performances that we carefully prepared. Long live OPM!” shared Stell.
On the first night, Rayver Cruz joined Julie on stage for a sweet and heartwarming number. Julie and Stell surprised the crowd by announcing the newest coach for The Voice Kids – songwriter, producer, and SB19’s leader, Pablo.
The second night was equally special with SB19’s Josh Cullen delivering a powerful performance. The crowd went wild when Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano joined in, showcasing his timeless vocal talent and amazing dance moves.
Fans had the chance to meet Julie and Stell at the meet-and-greet sessions right after the concert on both days.
Julie X Stell: Our Voice also organized a donation drive to help those affected by Super Typhoon Carina. This initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of GMA Kapuso Foundation and A’TIN.
“The journey of GMA Synergy, together with GMA Entertainment Group and 1Z Entertainment, wasn’t easy, but we never doubted the success of this project because of these two amazing artists. We also thank everyone, especially the fans and supporters of Julie and Stell, who shared their blessings with the victims of Super Typhoon Carina through the donation drive,” shared Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso.
“Our Voice not only showcased a variety of songs across genres and generations but also reflected the diversity of the team behind the show. We are truly grateful to everyone who worked on the show,,” said Consultant for GMA Entertainment Group, Darling de Jesus-Bodegon.
“We are immensely proud of Stell’s exceptional performances during the two-day sold-out concerts, and we also witnessed Julie’s remarkable presence, both on and off the stage. She is indeed a limitless star. As we reflect on this successful collaboration, we look forward to continuing our efforts in uplifting OPM in the industry,” said 1Z Entertainment’s Chief Operating Officer Julian De Dios.
Ang Ating Tinig: Julie X Stell was directed by multi-awarded concert director Paolo Valenciano.
