FUEL prices were lowered on Tuesday for the second straight week.
The per-liter price of gasoline was reduced by 10 centavos, diesel by 20 centavos and kerosene by 45 centavos.
The Department of Energy’s Oil Industry Management Bureau attributed this week’s price drop to the continuous weak demand of China and the escalating threat of conflict in the Middle East.
For this year so far, the price of gasoline has gone up by P9.50 and diesel by P6.65.
The price of kerosene, on the other hand, has dropped by 75 centavos.
