MANILA, Philippines — A committee at the House of Representatives approved on Tuesday a resolution recommending the filing of certificates of candidacy (CoCs) for the 2025 midterm elections be moved to December from October.
The Committee on Suffrage and Electoral Reforms proposed the filing to be held from Dec. 1 to 8, 2024 instead of October 1 to 8.
