TV host and actress Karylle is heartbroken as she shares the news of the death of her father, Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari, on social media.
Without revealing the cause of his death, Karylle honored her beloved father’s memory with a heartfelt letter on her Instagram page.
The actress reflected on how the Tatlonghari patriarch lived life to the fullest, describing him as a kind person who always ensured that everyone around him felt heard. She also recalled how he had been a constant presence in her life, expressing how fortunate she felt to have him as her father.
In addition to her post, which received numerous messages of condolence from friends in the entertainment industry, the It’s Showtime host reshared a video edit of herself with her father, created by a fan page dedicated to her and her husband, Spongecola vocalist Yael Yuzon.
Modesto was the ex-husband of Karylle’s mother, Zsa Zsa Padilla. His wake was held at the Santuario De San Jose Parish in Greenhills, Mandaluyong.
