A magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred off the shore of Lingig in Surigao del Sur early Tuesday morning, PHIVOLCS reported.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin occurred at 3:42 a.m. with a depth of 10 kilometers.
The agency also reported that the earthquake was an “aftershock of the 2024 August 03 Mw6.8 Offshore Surigao del Sur earthquake event.”
There are no damages expected and no aftershocks following the quake. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
