MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Tuesday bared the route for the Homecoming Parade for the Paris Olympians.
The parade will start at Aliw Theater going to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The MMDA said the parade will start at 3 p.m. and will run from V. Sotto (Aliw Theater) then turn left to Roxas Blvd., take a right turn to P. Burgos straight ahead to Finance Rd., then right turn to Pres. Quirino Ave., left turn to Adriatico St., and left to the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
The MMDA identified alternate routes for motorists.
For those going north towards R10, they should take the Skyway to Buendia Avenue, Taft Avenue, F.B Harrison St., A. Mabini St., Pres. Quirino and Lacson Avenue.
Southbound motorists should take Roxas Blvd., UN Avenue, San Marcelino and the. Quirino Ave., to SLEX.
The MMDA said that a Stop and Go scheme will be implemented during the parade.
A total of 300 personnel will be deployed to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
