THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday that the southwest monsoon will continue to affect portions of western Visayas and Mindanao, as well as Palawan.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms were expected to prevail in Western Visayas, Negros Island Region and Palawan, the state-run weather bureau said in its afternoon bulletin.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country could experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated or localized rain showers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa said there was no active tropical cyclone spotted outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
Temperature on Saturday afternoon ranged from 24.2 to 32.6 degrees Celsius, with 67 to 89 percent relative humidity, it added.
