National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee has revealed his latest novel, “Kalahating Bahaghari,” which centers its story on a family and its story of love and challenges for the past 50 years as some of its members are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The pre-selling for the book began last Aug. 17 and will have its official book launch at the upcoming Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) on Sept. 14. Copies of the book that will be pre-ordered will have Ricky Lee’s signature.
“Kalahating Bahaghari” serves as the writer’s latest novel since the release of “Lahat ng B” last year. It will be a new addition to Ricky Lee’s list of critically-acclaimed books such as “Para Kay B,” “Si Amapola sa 65 na Kabanata,” “Bahay ni Marta,” “Trip to Quiapo,” and “Kung Alam N’yo Lang.”
