A fisherman found a block of shabu worth P6.4 million floating in waters off Abulug and Ballesteros in Cagayan.
According to the report of GMA Regional TV’s Russel Simorio in Saksi on Wednesday, authorities noted that the light blue packaging with Chinese characters is similar to those that were recently found in Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.
The block contained 907.55 grams of shabu amounting to P6.4 million, the report added.
The recovered illegal drug is now in the custody of the regional forensic unit. A task group was also formed to investigate the discovery.
The report also said that shabu were previously recovered in other parts of Cagayan.
