At least P8 million worth of illegal drugs were seized from three Chinese citizens in Pasay and Paranaque City who were arrested for selling narcotics online, according to John Consulta’s report in “24 Oras” on Thursday.
A 26-year-old Chinese man was arrested during an undercover operation by the Philippine National Police’s Philippine Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-PDEG) in Pasay City on Wednesday night.
Authorities discovered P7 million worth of shabu that is being sold by the syndicate.
The syndicate was also caught selling ketamine, kush, ecstasy, and other illegal drugs.
(We discovered a mobile kitchen type of shabu laboratory. Though it is just small, we saw how the suspects manufactured these illegal drugs.)
In a follow-up operation, a male and a female Chinese citizen were arrested in Paranaque City after they attempted to sell P500,000 worth of shabu to undercover operatives.
According to police, the suspects make their transactions online via a group chat in Telegram.
Authorities said the illegal drugs being sold by the suspects are different compared to local versions.
(Based on the reports we received, these drugs are not that strong and we also found out that the market value of these drugs are low.)
The total value of all the drugs seized from the operations reached P8.1 million.
